"I have been with Dr. B for 30 years. The best shrink I’ve had and that’s why I keep him. Yes, he does tend to cut visits short, but he does listen, and tries to work with you to see what meds are best. Yes, some office staff can be a bit spazzy at times but not rude."

"I really do not recommend anyone going to see this psychiatrist or the facility he works at in sturtevant and Aurora in Kenosha. First of all, he doesn’t do an evaluation when you first visit him, he goes off of what previous doctors have said. He does not care about his patients and he makes that clearly obvious by spending only about 4 minutes with you during each appointment. He’s hung up on me while I was having a breakdown and refused to fill out paperwork for me with a terrible excuse. He is fully aware that I have been experiencing a lot of stressful life situations and am not coping very well. He only cares about pushing pills onto you so that you go away quickly. He doesn’t ask if they are working, only asks if you are taking them. The manager of his office, Kathy is extremely rude and extremely unprofessional. She has actually hung up on me in the middle of a call just because she didn’t want to help me anymore. What kind of practice does this? They need to and will be reported to the Wisconsin state board of medicine. This is not how doctors should be treating their patients dealing with mental distress, they are actually making it worse."

"Well.. I just experienced what half of these reviews are saying. Dr. Bjerrrgaard seems nice enough, but BEWARE - he will withhold your prescription refill (anxiety medication) and let you withdrawl (completey unbothered) until you can come in to see him. Clearly gives the patient's wellbeing lower priority than billing for that visit. Also, there is not after hour call tree so make sure you never have any emergency. Be careful if you see him/go to this practice."

He is an extremely professional, knowledgeable and caring doctor. The office staff are always polite & helpful. I have had to reschedule an appt in the past and they were able to get me in the following day."
