"This place is hands down the best place for detox. I went there twice for opiate withdrawal. Even though my first stay was tumultuous with being awake for 100+ hours and hallucinating and micro sleeping but hey after using drugs to help me sleep for ten years and the high levels of ambien in my system (unbeknownst to me) it was still a fairly wonderful experience. My second go around wasn’t nearly as bad and i actually slept. The nurses brittany, amanda, janelle, and the others i can’t recall are all wonderful. You can smoke or vape which is a godsend since i ain’t quitting 2 things at once. Sophie is wonderful and the other non medical staff are all great and there to listen if you need someone to talk to. My only gripe is that Sam the nurse practitioner tends to talk to you like you’re a toddler. I doubt she does it on purpose so it gets a pass. That and the 6k out of pocket you have to pay but hey this stuff aint free if you have state insurance and want comfort when you detox. Get your own tablet to watch netflix and hulu and two rooms to sit and chill in if you need it. The kitchen has food but then again nothing is too appealing when in withdrawal. Im sure I’ll be back eventually since addicts are gonna addict. Best place to begin your journey if you have the money and absolutely if your insurance covers it."

"This facility is state-of-the art and gorgeous!! Private rooms, comfortable, spacious, I felt so safe and secure. Staff was non-judgemental and so friendly and caring at all hours of the day and night. Food was amazing. Nurses and techs were unbelievable. This palce does not compare to any other detox in Wisconsin. Thank you Midwest Detozlx for doing it right!"
