Kabian Park

"Beautiful hike. No shade- don't do this hike if it's over seventy degrees. Not stroller friendly/kid friendly. We had a bunch of kids with us and the smallest needed to be carried near the end. The path is not smooth and there is a lot of elevation changes. For us adults/teenagers who like to hike but only do it a couple of times a year, it was pleasantly challenging."

"First time here, I went and took a short hike to recon the area for mountain biking. There are lots of trails some would take you to sections of Canyon Lake, but sad to say they were all unmarked. It would nice if the city's park service could provide markings and update the restroom, there is only one and in need of repair. Bring lots of water and snacks specially during warmer days. This place would be gorgeous during spring (wild flowers season)."

"Nice park with benches and a playground, adjacent to the Kabian Reserve and is great for hiking and trail running. It's well hidden in an obscure area. The trails are rolling hills surrounded by coastal desert vegetation. The San Jacinto River runs into Canyon Lake from this area. I've go there about once a week and really enjoy it. The only bad thing is there is trash here and there. I'm a hiking tour guide and I'm thinking about starting a hike here, my hikes are currently based in Palm Springs and Morongo Valley."

"Grew up playing at this park it's always done me good! Great open areas to run, updated playground, private bathroom, & hiking trails! My family and I have thrown many-a-party here and never regret it! *photos are from my sisters baby shower 8/13/17"
