Miller/Knox Regional Shoreline
About the Business
Miller/Knox Regional Shoreline is a picturesque park and tourist attraction located at 900 Dornan Drive in Richmond, California. This 307-acre park offers a variety of attractions, including a shoreline picnic area, a swimming beach at Keller Beach, a fishing pier at Ferry Point, and a hilltop with panoramic views of the North Bay Area. The park was named in honor of State Senator George Miller, Jr., and former State Assemblyman John T. Knox.
Visitors can enjoy a mile-long jogging and bicycling trail around a lagoon, picnic facilities on a tree-shaded lawn, and the opportunity to swim in San Francisco Bay at Keller Beach. The historic fishing pier at Ferry Point offers anglers the chance to catch a variety of Bay fish, while the grassy hills provide stunning views of the surrounding area.
Dogs are welcome in certain areas of the park but must be kept on a leash. The park is also a designated San Francisco Bay Water Trail site, offering access to kayakers and other water enthusiasts. Visitors can also explore the Golden State Model Railroad Museum located across from the park entrance.

Reviews
"My dog loves this place. Birds to chase, a pond to swim in, lots of trails and walkways to trot and run about. The best time to visit is early in the a.m. So beautiful, quiet, and tranquil."
"Love walking here. Port Richmond is a quaint and lovely area, and here is a nice seaside place for a stroll."
"Great park to walk the shoreline, view the city from across the bay, and enjoy a picnic. Parking lot fills up fast, but there's plenty of street parking. Restrooms are available, not always clean, but usually stocked with paper."
"Beautiful day, clear skies, great views so decided to visit one of Richmond's historical sites."
"Very popular park for locals. It’s family friendly. Non challenging walking paths. Surrounded by hillsides with great 360 vistas, an old historic fishing pier that’s a favorite with locals."
