"I’ve been too many dog parks in SF, but this one is my favorite. This definitely feels like a “locals-only” place. All owners are fairly respectful and take care of the place. This park is very off leash friendly. After living in Rincon Hill for many years, this was a very good change of pace, as many of the dogs off leash were clearly trained to get along with dogs. Majority of the dogs are on the larger side, but there are also many small dogs as well. There is a lot of parking for cars. I don’t recommend street parking because the park is below street grade. One of the downsides is that it’s not very pedestrian friendly to get to, and many people drive in to get to it."
"Beautiful park very clean and filled with dogs. Wheelchair and stroller friendly with some inclines. Dogs on leashes required in some areas. Must pick up after pets. Keep this place beautiful don’t litter, wear a mask and social distance."
"So many dogs! Dogs everywhere! There’s a ton of space down here as well as a lot of very friendly people and dogs alike. Everything goes - if you’re dog absolutely needs a ball in their mouth, go for it! If they’re more of a dogs dog, there are always plenty willing to play. It tends to stay a bit foggy, but there seems to always be good wind shelter. Bring a jacket though!"
"Big, beautiful meadow surrounded by huge mature trees. I visited at the end of the day, without a dog, and the low angle of the sun gave a warm glow. Quiet despite the many happy dogs. Children strolling the perimeter path with their adults, too. Since it was late February, flowering trees. Because of the time of day, a chorus of birdsong, too. Lots of parking (but nicely hidden by vegetation) to the east. To the west, on the same paved path, beautiful little Pine Lake, where I spotted mallard and bufflehead ducks and pied billed grebes and turtles. There's a building between the two areas with rest rooms. Pine Lake hosts Park and Rec day camps in the summer season."
"Always a fantastic place to bring our lassa aspo. people are friendly and there's plenty of room for the dogs to run around. You might want to bring a towel with you so you can do a quick clean after a great time in the park."
