"Tonight's park with a softball field. Lots of slides and playground equipment for the kids as well as swings and water stuff for the summer"
"It's ok, being right next to a major avenue though gets me kinda nervous tho for everyone's safety in general especially the children. The city should place street rails near the sidewalk all along the whole sidewalk up towards the street light where the park's entrance is at. Just a suggestion"
"In terms of the splash pad, bathrooms, and picnic areas - I have zero complaints. I will say check the park website if you are going to the splash pads and have never been. They’re only open a certain time of the year for obvious reasons but just in case. My issue with this place is the playground. I don’t understand how they can have such a well kept/updated splash pad area, and have such an awful run down playground. The pictures on here aren’t accurate, first off most of the slides are cut off, literally! They built bars in front of the slides to prevent kids from going down them. Why not just remove the whole slide? It upsets the kids and creates a safety issue because the bigger kids climb them and jump off. I don’t understand how this is a thing. The playground area is also very dirty and they have wood chips. The summer heat makes the wood chip smell really bad, plus it’s just not safe in general. I’ve seen several kids including my own fall and get hurt. Anyway, the splash pads are great. We’ve gone several times a week during the summer. I recommend them."
"Always a great place to hang out with the fam♥️ There's a baseball field, Picnic area with BBQ, Splash pad, Jungle gym with slides & a small fitness area."
"Fun little splash park for small kids, some shady areas to sit and watch the kids play. Large playground with slides and swings gets hot during midday. Baaketball courts, baseball field, workout area, and large grassy area. BBQ pits available by a few of the picnic tables. Park is open sunrise to sunset. There is also a community center and free lunch for kids 18 and under is available during the summer."
