"The splash pad was great, the kids had lots of fun. The park itself is small, there's a small area for the kids to play, tables for a picnic and grass area, bathrooms...HOWEVER...the homeless people live here and take up the grass area and the bathrooms, they also use the splash pad area for a shower, when I was here the Whittier police came and made some of them leave. This park was recently re-done and is a cute little park, fairly clean, and definitely be better with out all the homeless people sleeping in the grass area."
"Its a beautiful well kept park with clean swings and play areas. Best to be there when there's more people as there are homeless that hang around there and the bathrooms are disgusting. Also not a dog park but people still bring their dogs (not cool)"
"I took the grandkids for a day out. It's was a very nice experience. There was a life guard on site, and the park was very clean. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because there is limited shade. While there is plenty of seating and some nice trees that offer a little bit of shade, there are some benches that get nothing but sun. Perhaps they may want to consider a few sun shades in the future. But if you don't bring your own shade ⛱️ you will get burned. I also recommend bringing your own chairs if you want to sit comfortably. There are several picnic benches if you take lunch for the kids. But those do get taken up fast. They even have an outdoor shower to rinse off. However, I didn't see anyone using it, so I'm not sure if they are working. Overall, it was a great experience, and I will be going again."
"The park is awesome. Great place for my two toddlers. And the water ends at 4pm."
