"This park is in a nicer part of Oakland. Onsite street parking is free. I felt safe. It's a very nice small redwood grove with a couple walking paths. You can find a book or bench and feel miles away without having the travel or hike a long distance."
"A nice spread of park! It has a short walk through redwood trees that was peaceful and if you start at the top there, you can walk down the path to the main park where there is a big open grassy field and a playground. Lots of benches but I wish there were a few more tables to have lunch on. It’s a nice area none the less!"
"This long, narrow park is nestled in redwoods that provide natural shade and climbing opportunities. The grassy meadows are lovely for picnics, parties, and sports. The play structures are simple and small but kept clean and well maintained. It is not enclosed from the street so it's necessary not to be distracted from little ones. Visibility is low from the back end of the park to the front. Parking is not bad. The neighborhood has lots of hills and expensive homes, the park reflects that vibe."
"Surrounded by high cliffs so a lot of shades on sunny days and if you want a lot of sun area also. Children staff also cool, climbing wall for kids and scooter area. Drinking fresh water also available side of climbing area."
