"Just had Big Dog Movers (for a second time) move a three bedroom home for me. As before, they sent a three man crew who were very polite, professional, and fast! This time I was moving items to storage and then asked them to make another stop for a drop off of bedroom furniture. They accommodated me, and I couldn't have been happier! "As my friends and family can tell you, I have moved more times in my life than anyone they know. I estimate I have made at least 30 some moves. Many have been local, a number of them have been between Milwaukee and Madison and a couple have been across the country. I have used both local movers and long distance movers. I've also used local and national companies. My last move was handled by Big Dog Movers at the end of December, moving us from Madison to Milwaukee. After a snowless December, the morning of our move Madison was hit with 3"+ of snow. The movers showed up on time and set right to work getting everything loaded. They got done relatively quickly especially considering the weather. We were not allowed to be at our new place in Milwaukee as we weren't closing until the following day. The movers were met by the real estate agent. I had provided them with a layout of the unit and indicated where we wanted major furniture and boxes placed. The new building is extremely security conscious and the movers were not allowed to prop doors open. When we got to our new place everything was basically where we expected it to be. Even though no one was there to oversee them everything went very smoothly. We had no complaints from building management or our new neighbors. While we have not unpacked everything, we have not found anything that was broken. Overall this was one of the smoothest moves I have ever made despite the bad weather. The estimate was a bit off, but given the bad weather and situation at our new building that was not unexpected. The crew was really nice and handled our belongings with care. I really highly recommend these movers! Their rates are also very competitive. You won't be sorry if you hire them."
