"A great place to have a low-key photo shoot. Very safe and clean with bathrooms."
"Absolute quiet and gorgeous little honeycomb hideaway area where it's a friendly and family orientated environment. Excellent walking and biking trail along the beachside. Parking is great, accessible, and affordable. I definitely suggest as I will be returning. Best part for fishers>>>you DON'T need a FL to fish off the pier!!"
"I've been coming here for years with my partner and it's a joy to now bring our children here. There are lots of street parking but it's a bit of a walk down to get to the beach area, but the biggest treat for us is to walk along the abandoned railroad tracks. Today on the whim we fed the squirrels and tons of them came out begging for food! They weren't too aggressive but if the squirrels didn't get the foods and then the seagulls were just super aggressive to get the food so that was annoying."
"This small sandy beach located in Richmond is a great place for a quick mental rest. Parking at the beach is limited street parking but there is a giant parking lot a few blocks down."
"Great local spot. I was here a few days ago on a day off from work. It’s a relatively small beach that’s grown in popularity over the years. To the north is Point Richmond where there’s nice restaurants, small shops, and coffee spots. To the southwest of the beach is a hiking trail that is within walking distance. It would be nice if it was an area we could actually swim in, but the water is filled with a lot of seaweed. However, you do get access to some great views of the bay. On a clear day you can see the top of the Golden Gate Bridge. There are no lifeguards here so please be mindful. Other than that, check it out if you’re in town."
