"This park is part of the San Pablo Bay Shoreline trail and affords water views. There’s an adjacent rail line that runs parallel with the shoreline, and it prevents access to the water at this location."
"Pinole Shores Park is a treasure nestled in California's East Bay. As I strolled along the well-paved trail, I couldn't help but notice the abundance of plants and trees that dotted the landscape, inviting visitors to indulge in nature's beauty. The park was a lively sanctuary, with playful squirrels scurrying about and the occasional feline companion crossing my path. What truly captivated me were the scenic views that unfolded before my eyes. From the park's vantage point, I could witness the majestic sight of passing trains on nearby tracks, adding a touch of nostalgia to the experience. And as I gazed further, the breathtaking vista of the water extending towards the Vallejo mountains unfolded, painting a picturesque backdrop that truly took my breath away. Pinole Shores Park is a haven for both nature lovers and those seeking tranquility, offering a blend of bountiful flora, lively fauna, and captivating views that make it a truly remarkable destination."
"Nice paved bike trail with a bridge that goes OVER the main railroad tracks that Amtrak uses. Great vantage point for anyone that is into railroad photography..."
"On the shoreline of pinole lies a hidden area of town that shares a view of the other side of the bay and the hills and valleys beyond. With a paved path don't worry about needing special shoes. To the west you get a glimpse of Mount Tam, and to the east the industrial area that looks more like a old Western town from this Angel. Watch for the trains for the tracks are closer than you think"
