"Great little park with nice walk along the bay. Paved trails, the bridge has gorgeous views and is very friendly for all (walkers, bikers, skaters, wheelchairs, kids etc ) Lots of birds and there's an area for kids to pick up a shells. The Amtrak also passes through here. There are about 20 parking spaces and you can park on the street if they are full. Lots of benches with views and a couple of picnic tables."
"A hidden gem just a few minutes from Pinole and Hercules. Will be even better when they complete the pedestrian bridge connecting the Bay Trail over the RR. Update Dec 2020: Pedestrian bridge was completed last year and the walk and views are spectacular. Great workout going up and down the path as it follows the shore. Can get a bit busy for social distancing at peak times, but usually plenty of space and people are thoughtful and wear masks if needed."
"Me and my kids had such a great time here. Nice and clean no trash bathrooms where clean. We even found a jelly fish that washed ashore."
"It’s a lovely little park with benches, and a walking bridge over the train tracks with nice views. We went on a Sunday and there weren’t too many people there, though a prevalence of single men as opposed to couples or families made us a little uneasy."
"I really like this place. Perfect for a walk with a dog. If you are not afraid of unpleasant smells from sanitation agency near the park. Sometimes employees from construction on site and sanitation agency are blocking the entire parking lot and access road to the park for users, as if it were their property, which is quite annoying. otherwise very nice park."
