"Really loved it, very quiet. Amazing trail to the coast across the street! Only downfall is that you have to pay with quarters to take a shower, I didn't see this listed on the website but I may have missed it; bring quarters if you want to use it ☺️."
"We love this campground and have stayed here countless times, but lately things have changed. The lack of drinkable water has been going on for years without any appearance of movement to fix. Some sites are great, some are extremely close together, especially when 95% of everyone is camping in their RV or van. The recent addition of power hookups will transform it even further. Seems to me drinkable, safe water should be the top priority, not spending a huge amount to add electrical hookups to an already expensive campsite. At nearly $50/night with 12% tax and $10 reservation fees, warm showers are not enough."
"Pretty quite camp ground and the spots are spread out well. Some cook hiking spots right from the campground and also you can walk right to the ocean. I was told that the site is on a well and that the well has tested positive for Ecoli but they are treating with chlorine so the chlorine could be strong. Just to be safe we brought our own water. Each site has a picnic table and fire pit. They sell wood by the bundle. They have a sewer dump station and hose to clean out the trailer. To dump its $7 cash only and paid to the park ranger that walks around each night to collect the fee and give you a parking pass."
"This is a standout campground and my favorite place to tent camp along with my girlfriend. It is very secluded, campsites are separated by trees and bushes in most cases which adds to privacy. It is also a great spot for families and RVs/trailers, as many spots can accommodate extra long vehicles (though there are no hookups). Each site has a fire ring, locker, and picnic style bench. There are also bathrooms and showers with running water ($2.00 for 5 mins at the shower, paid in quarters). There is an adjacent beach, and a short trail leading to it from the campground. Firewood is always for sale by the camp host for $10/wheelbarrow. Overall this is a standout & picturesque campground on the northern California coast!"
"Probably the best place to camp on the Northern California Coast. Very clean and a pleasant staff, the ranger is very nice. Hot showers and a place to dump your waste tank. It is the kind of place that you would want to go regularly. Nice wooded area for camping and a short walk to the beach well maintained and serene."
