"Well, this is a first! Had a message from the Mauston Mail person that an attempt to deliver a package at 2:02 PM on December 13, 2023 could not be made because the driveway and front door were not accessible. Hello, it was sunny and 50 degrees. Green grass and not one snow flake in sight. There were 2 small packages that they did deliver into my mailbox along with some mail. Today December 14, 2023 got a message that the package from the 13th was left at the Front door/porch area. That is Not True! The package was jammed so tightly into the mail box and half way hanging out with the door dangling. I had to struggle to get the package out, the package was crushed and the mailbox was bent and the plastic clasp was damaged. In my opinion the mail person didn't have the time to drive into my driveway on the 13th and place the package on our back covered deck, so my package was delayed a day. This is unacceptable service and shouldn't be happening."

"They lost my passport in Dec 2018, also never received old passport back.Still havent received a good explanation. Im an ex mail carrier of 31 years. They said it was scanned delivered at mail box. Thats useless, I never signed for it. Postmaster Scott seemed pretty indifferent. Welcome to hooterville!5 years later, still waiting for my misdelivered passport!"

"This review is about the carrier, the actual Post Office staff are WONDERFUL!!!! My issue is with my carrier. There use to be a time when ALL packages were delivered, that apparently is not the case anymore. I am tired of getting the 'Sorry we missed you' note because they don't feel like delivering my packages. I work from home and someone is ALWAYS home from 8-5."

"the postal service delivers millions of pieces of mail, several a day to most homes consistently constantly nearly always reliable. they staff post offices 5 1/2 days a week with cheerful helpful staff. yet the only time anyone reviews us when that one glitch happens that probably had nothing to do with the local facility anyway. i appreciate my postal service!!"

"Whenever I get packages they are forced and damaged by stuffing them in the small mailbox instead of being placed at our door. It's been happening for almost 2 years. The front door to our house is 10 foot from the road. I'm tired of items being damaged by the postal delivery person."
