Reviews
"We stopped along the way and visited the Living Chimney Tree. The viewing is free. It gave us an opportunity to stretch out legs but I wouldn’t go too far out of your way to see it."
"Super cute stop on the side of the road when you are checking out the redwoods! Definitely worth pulling over."
"A cute little free tourist spot. Fair warning! There is a river across the street that is accessible by a car trail but do not bring your vehicle down there unless it is AWD! The trail looks easy for any vehicle but quickly becomes "no turning back;" at the bottom is just sand, no gravel or dirt. I had to call a tow truck to get me out of the riverbank."
"Worth a stop, ample parking and free to walk in and around the tree"
"Spectacular mature redwood which was hollowed out by a fire. You can actually see the sky from inside of it. Great experience right on the side of the Avenue od the Giants"
