"I called to pay this company in full. I was dealing with an awful retalitory landlord situation.I was 2 weeks late on last months rent because I lost my job and instead of simply taking my deposit, or giving me more time, or working on a payment plan. I was refused, even before I was behind. Instead, they sent me court papers to stick it to me for challenging thier incompetence and lack of professionalism over the last year. That I only could talk to thier "lawyer". We have had nothing but problems with them since we moved in being uncommunicative and inflexible. Anyway, the landord sent the worst guys on me they could because they refused to work it out before the court date and shut down thier payment portal so I couldn't pay them directly. I call this firm, introduce myself, and said that I wanted to pay, if they could drop this case, or what the next steps were in regards to court. I wasn't even done asking for help and I was rudely interrupted and asked for my name and case number. I kept my cool and just did as I was asked. Then, gave my new address and said I had no job. I read the reviews before calling so, I knew to not argue. In the end, all I was told was to pay online and that I should get an update on the case in the mail. Never came in the mail and now they are not returning my phone calls, so now I'll have to go to court to be on the safe side. So, they can stick me with court fees which I'm gonna dispute. My advice to people dealing with debt collections in general is to not answer thier calls, don't agree to do a payment plan with them and simply work that out in court, or file for bankruptcy especially over medical bills. Debt collectors only care about getting thier money, they don't care how they get it, and will make you feel like scum.Some will even get dirtier by calling your family to shame you into paying. All the rudeness is on purpose."

"This place and the president of this company is a joke. Last week, I called them to make a payment and they agreed to accept the payment of over 900 dollars in money orders. Well today I got a letter in the mail from this company and inside was the money orders and a letter stating they wouldn't accept them as it wasn't the full amount. I called them and left a voice-mail. They called me back and left me a voice mail I called them back and got to talk to the head person. She stated that they wouldn't accept the payment as it wasn't for the full amount. I asked why they didn't tell me they wouldn't accept it. She started talking to me and I accidently interrupted her. She stated with an attitude that I better not interrupt her and let her telk so I said go on. After her going off on me, I thought I could talk and started talking and calling her mam. She interrupted me and said that I better not call her mam. And I said no I'm going to call you mam because I'm trying to be respectful and then she was like I'm done with this conversation and said they wouldn't accept the payment as it wasn't full payment for what I supposedly owed and hung up. This company is extremely unprofessional and I have no idea how they are still in business. And she comes off as just like she looks. A big Karen."

"I have read the reviews and agree 100% with how extremely unprofessional and distasteful this company is. As an employer who has received a garnishment order from this company for an employee, I would never use this law firm for any type of debt collection. The company has been rude in both phone conversations and in their mailed communications."

"Over the last 26 years, I have unfortunately have had dozens of medical bills turned into collection agencies and this has occurred over nine states. Each and everyone has been willing to enter into a payment agreement. That is until Bruck. I had sent them $119.08 (cashier check) and promised to make 23-more payments. They refused it. I then tried to negotiate with them to take payments of $238.15 over a 12-month payment agreement and would not do that over the phone, either. They stated that I had to turn over my financial data to them and then they would make a judgment on what would and would not work. Outside of them not being willing to work with me, as almost everyone on the reviews state, very rude."

"Dennis will lie then call you a liar. How is this place still in Business? unreal! They won’t let me pay my debt!! Absolutely the worst company you will ever find, belittling,they treat you subhuman right off the bat. Insanely rude. absolutely horrible! not an ounce of professionalism in this company! But Dennis takes the cake for head off my wife hasn’t touched me in 20 years so let’s take it out on other people depertment! I called trying to pay my debt and they won’t let me!! just run their mouths until I can’t take the harassment and hang up. report to the bureau immediately. I’m now blocked from calling them for trying to pay my debt. I have No experience with anybody but dennis. but hearing from the other reviews I see this place should be avoided at all costs!"
