"Reading these reviews it's good to know that other people had the same experience as I did. He started the conversation off asking how many visits should we give this before "we" decide it's not going to work, then almost talked down to me for the rest of the visit even though I explained I've been a diabetic for two decades and understand the concepts. I went there for one visit and I'll never be going back. All the other staff were fantastic, this is all at fault of the Doctor practicing there. If your'e up to do some digging check out his disciplinary records and the amount of other practices he no longer has in other states."

"I was referred to Dr. Zachariah after deciding that the Endocrinologist I had before just wasn't going to work out. At first I thought he was a great doctor. I loved how he dumbed down everything so that I understood. However, that was until I started asking questions about how I was being treated. The minute I did that he decided he was no longer comfortable with treating me because in his words, "Clearly we are on different pages when it comes to my treatment." Actually I had thought we were on the same page until he apparently decided to change what we had talked about. For 2 years I was dealing with pain and severe itching. Dr. Zachariah felt there was no way that it could possible be from my thyroid meds because what I was taking was SIMILAR to what my body would of made had I still had my thyroid. So he sent me to an allergist and this is where things become messy. Clearly he was hoping the allergist would come up with another reason for why I was constantly itching, but she didn't. And despite Zachariah agree to changing my meds if they allergist found nothing, he change his tone and decide NO he was not comfortable with this. Manage to get an appointment at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. The doctor changed my medication to name brand, and after 1 month of being on these meds the itching has gotten better and so has the pain. Dr. Zachariah is not a doctor who likes to be questioned. He makes you think you are apart of your treatment, but in reality you are not."

"I’m a 67 yr old woman who’s encountered many, many doctors in her life. NEVER have I been spoken to so rudely, degrading and insulting. I have cognitive impairments. He refused to answer the same question twice. He said he has a busy office with many patients. Am I not his patient? The month before he sent me a rude message telling me a certain thyroid blood test was not necessary by my other doctor. Excuse me? I have nothing to do with what is ordered. And this happened to be ordered from my oncologist. I eventually disconnected the video call because I refused to hear any more. I plead with anyone considering this doctor to think twice. "Terrible doctor! Would not give us results from routine thyroid tests and told us to call Medical Records, who told us it would take two weeks. Every other provider we have ever worked with will gladly just print out a copy when the patient asks. May have been trying to cover for himself because he didn't order the correct lab tests in the first place. Spent literally half of the appointment arguing with my wife about her not wanting an interpreter (English is not her first language, but she understands it very well, and prefers to communicate directly instead of through an interpreter; it's great that Aurora offers interpretation services -- but if the patient refuses, why shouldn't the patient's clearly stated preference be the final word? And why waste the interpreter's time, when there are other patients who presumably need and want this service?). Tried to bully and force my wife into surgery she doesn't want. Has been previously disciplined in Illinois and Missouri for inappropriate sexual relationships with patients. Stay away!"
