"I want to give a big shoutout to Dr. Sam Miller at Racine Dental! I have always had a big happy smile and the last year or so I have not been confident with my smile because of a ridge that had formed in my front teeth from grinding which then led to discoloration. Dr. Miller took action after listening to my concerns and was able to fill my ridge and get rid of the discoloration. I am so happy with the results. It feels like I have my happy, big smile back! Thank you, Dr. Miller!"

"Shawna was awesome! She took her time cleaning my teeth and gave me a much-needed break so I felt comfortable. She explained the steps of what she was going to do and made sure that I was ready. I will ask for her to do my dental cleaning from now on. Thanks, Shawna!"

"When I went in for my cleaning and dental exam last week, I was informed my exam was canceled because Dr. Osgood was out of town. Osgood didn't have anyone call me to reschedule. They waited until I took time off of work and was there to tell me. When I went in today for my dental exam AGAIN, Osgood recommended I see a specialist for a dental issue that arose from a filling she filled last August that failed. Her assistant scheduled the appointment for me while I was there. Tonight, I received a call from the office manager telling me Dr. Osgood recommends I see a different dentist going forward. The reason? She feels I don't have confidence in her because I... ASKED QUESTIONS. I am most certainly going to ask questions when I see a dentist or doctor if I need to understand something. If you don't want a patient asking a couple questions, perhaps you need to get better at explaining things to them and not be in such a rush to get to your next patient. If you are offended because I wanted you to explain your diagnosis, I am glad you don't want me as a patient because I certainly don't want you as a dentist. Everyone else at Racine Dental has always been extremely friendly, courteous and helpful. It's a shame this happened because for the first time Racine Dental has left a bad taste in my mouth."

"They make you pay in full at the time of service, but always get the amounts wrong, which is frustrating. They should wait until insurance has a chance to process the claim and then bill, like everyone else. After each appointment, I end up getting bills in the mail from Racine Dental Group asking for more money AND refunds from them arriving at almost the same time for the same appointment. It’s absolutely chaotic. The documentation and itemization they provide with these letters is very poor, so it’s very difficult to understand what’s going on and figure out if we’re being billed fairly. I go to so many medical clinics, and none of the others have such terrible and unprofessional billing/payment practices. They’re doing clients a disservice by forcing us to pay in full at the time of service and then charging us more and issuing refunds without clear explanation. And now they have the nerve to charge 3% for card transactions, as if they’re a tiny nail salon or something rather than a giant business with premium prices. Dr. Scherrer Is leaving, and I chose him because of his many years of experience and glowing reviews. He was always wonderful about making sure there was no pain. Someone much younger has taken over his practice, and I can’t find reviews about his work to comfort me. My usual dentist’s retirement coupled with these ridiculous new transaction fees feel like signs to go elsewhere for dental care."

"I’m a new patient here but so far so good!! Everyone has been amazing. From Tammy helping me become a new patient/ setting up my insurance to the Dr and assistant/ hygienist being super nice. I’m autistic so it’s hard for me to go to the dentist, be around new people touching me/ putting their hands in my mouth & basically everything a dentist has to do lol. They were all amazingly patient with me, the dental assistant (Amy) was so nice- she let me watch cartoons and even asked if I wanted my husband to come in w/ me. Dr. Nowman was very respectful of my boundaries w/ touches and patiently answered all of my questions- even when I kept remembering something I wanted to ask and he had to keep coming back. They both made me feel as comfortable as I could be. They’re very upfront w/ their pricing and explain everything in the bill so you’re not surprised/ have to pay charges you didn’t know about. I only went in for X-rays/ an exam but it was as nice of an experience as it could be for me. My next appointment is today and for once I’m not absolutely terrified about going to the dentist. This appointment will be longer /addressing some issues that were long over due. I’ll update how that goes!"
