"My go-to Hayward area course. Incredible Pete Dye course design with links style golf on the front 9 and north woods golf on the back. Staff has always been incredibly friendly over my many trips to Big Fish. Recent influx of poor reviews (seemingly all from a single group) are not at all reflective of my experiences. This is a first-class course with first-class staff and I would recommend Big Fish to any golfer without hesitation."

"Very disappointed in the experience at Big Fish Golf course. Rude pro shop staff, rangers on carts threatening to kick our group off course if we don't play faster, while also making us walk to every shot from the cart paths. Course conditions were poor, fairways in rough shape with lots of burnt spots and crab grass. The most unbelievable part was our group being falsely accused of hitting golf balls at houses on hole #16 and being greeted by sheriffs at the green on the 18th hole for questioning.(didn't even get to finish our round since it was a complete surprise we were being accused of intentionally trying to hit a house) This situation was completely insulting and embarrassing, especially considering no one in our group even hit out of bounds on that hole!! I honestly didn't even know there was a house on the hole until the police officers approached us with the accusation. After the police left because we clearly didn’t do anything wrong we still didn’t recieve an apology from the course management. Just more harassment the next day from the Ranger and pro shop staff. I attached a picture of the tee box for reference, can't even tell there is a house on this hole until you're down by the green. The employees working in mulligans pub were kind, but dye hards/pro shop/ranger staff were the worst encounters I've ever had in my 20 years playing golf. Spend your money somewhere else. "Love Big Fish! The staff are outstanding and very polite. The starter was awesome and had some great knowledge and good conversation. The food was really good, especially at Mulligans on the turn. The course was in good condition overall with a few bad spots on the greens. Almost expected nowadays with how little rain we have had this year. I look forward to coming back and continuing to have a great time here."

"Extremely pricey and not well maintained. Beat up tee boxes, poorly mowed greens, etc. Worker named Marty also threatened to remove my group after we discussed to him earlier we were playing a 3 on 3 scramble, and he still was unreasonable. Not worth the money for their services."

"Hadn't played here for years. Condition of the course is good, Great greens, low maintenance bunkers and overall a great course. Some beat up tee boxes, some bad divot areas but that more of the players fault. Mulligan's is OK, minimal service and items. Staff is very friendly and price is very reasonable. Walk-able course for some good exercise."
