"I have been going to the Winona Post Office for over a decade. The front-line staff are ALWAYS friendly and hard-working even in the face of long lines of people who have places to go. As I wait in line, I have ALWAYS observed others receiving courteous service even when the customers are not courteous. Sometimes the lines are long and there is only one person on duty, but it isn't the fault of those who work in the front. These are staffing issues. One other point: my postal delivery woman is also amazing. Always. Thank you, Winona Post Office, for the hard work you do day in and day out. Lora"
"I normally don’t write reviews especially ones for google but today I’m changing that. The Winona post office refused to deliver my mail to my apartment and never gave a valid excuse to why. I also paid for faster shipping and now that it’s going to be a holiday weekend I won’t see it for another four days thus making the extra money towards faster shipping a total waste. I understand completely why people every day us the private sector for actually carrying out and fulfilling delivers."
"I didn't realize we arrived 3 minutes too late and they were closed. Another woman walked in ahead of us and the door was not locked. The worker let her in and locked the door behind the woman and in front of me and my daughter. Either she should've let us both in (the other woman and i), or neither of us. I shook the handle to make sure it was locked and the worker turned her back to my daughter and I and walked to front desk with other woman. It was rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. She could've at least said sorry. She completely ignored us and helped the other woman. No way she didn't see us. We arrived before the other woman, but my daughter took a minute to get out of her car seat, so the woman was ahead of us walking in. I don't understand how a person is raised so rude and in considerate. Lock the door on us and turn away to help someone else who was also late like we were. Very disappointing."
"The clerics up front are super helpful, but the woman supervisor or whatever she is, is very unhelpful and rude. Carriers often choose not to deliver packages, or deliver to the wrong place and then won't admit that they did so and she defends them (even when they are proven to be wrong). Wish my mail would go through a different post office, never had so many issues getting my mail as I have with them. And if you are lucky enough to have their local phone number, good luck getting someone to answer the phone most of the time, they literally ignore it. I wish I could change the post office that my mail goes through. I will no longer go to them for my mailing/shipping needs."
"UPDATE: After being on hold for over an hour when my quoted time was 15-23 minutes, I explained my package was mistakingly delivered to their location and asked if I could just pick it up (2 hours from home) so I could have my package on time because I needed the package that contained outfits for my daughter for her pictures. I was told they COULD NOT hold it for me so I could drive there and I would just have to wait until they sent it to me... Now they sent it OUT OF STATE TO IOWA instead of where I live ( which is an hour and a half closer than where they sent it to) I really don't think they know what they are doing. I sincerely hope NONE of my future mail or packages are processed here again."
