"I used this company in Aug of 2023 and 6 month later I figured our that my taxes are not paid and the numbers on my closing docs are wrong. The title company was distributing funds, since it was pre-foreclosure, but they never cared to looked into the numbers and seller and I signed deferent paperwork. Erin said sorry that she didn't catch the mistake. My issue is that I hired title company, signed the paperwork and agreed to the terms of the contract, but 6 month later I ended up paying more.... now I am wondering, what else is going to come up.... TitleWerks tried to "point fingers" to my lender, but even if my lender made a mistake, the title company should of catch it before giving my money to the seller... its exactly why we are hiring title companies. I am going to report this to MN Department of Commerce and will update my post upon my complaint is resolved. Update: MN Department of Commerce haven’t found intentional acts since the title company “didn’t notice the mistake”. Looks like civil matter at this point against title company, realtor and lean holder. I have 1.5 to file this complaint and will update my review. Pick your title company carefully!"
