"I have always received great service at the UPS Store in Forest Lake. I recently worked with them on a custom printing project. They analyzed the project and presented me with a number of viable options, including one that did not require their services. That kind of service is both refreshing and spectacular!"
"I don’t know what the young man’s name is, he has long hair and usually wears a distinctive hat but he is a rock star at handling Amazon returns . Even if the line is out the door I am in and out of there in 5 mins or less."
"I didn’t get the young man’s name but I feel he went above and beyond in helping me with an overseas return. I checked mail tonight and Amazon had contacted me to take care of the problem. The UPS Store guy had taken care of the problem for me. Thank you sir. (Visit: Dec 27 around 1:00 PM)"
"I needed to send a package overnight to a locked building with no buzzer to get in. I called and asked if UPS would be able to deliver important time sensitive documents to a locked building and I was assured they could, they just needed the phone number of the person receiving the documents and would call them to get let in. When I arrived at the UPS store I re-stated the importance of these time sensitive documents and the locked building situation. I was again assured that a phone call would be made to get into the building with the number I provided. I should've used another delivery service and would have if UPS had been honest and upfront about their policy. The package was not delivered. The driver said the building was closed. No phone call was made. When I called the UPS store I was told that UPS drivers do not make phone calls to get into places to for delivery. I was given a 1-800 number to call. Advice: don't call this number unless you want to waste your time and patience. I have dealt with automated phone systems before but this was a new experience. I'm convinced the design of the UPS 1-800 costumer service is to spread unhappiness and suck the joy out of life, it isn't designed to help customers. The phone call ended with an automated response "not able to help" and I experienced the indignity of being hung up on by a recorded voice. I then used the UPS Live chat, I asked the Virtual Assistant for a human costumer service agent, and was given quite a few time wasting excuses why the Virtual Assistant could better help me than a human until it finally relented, and after I provided my name and number I was in line for a call back. Finally! The agent who called me back repeated the same script from the Forest Lake UPS and stone walled me. I pleaded with the agent that there must be a way to get the documents delivered today there must be someone who can help, after all I paid nearly $70.00 and trusted them to deliver the important documents and I was assured they would call to get into the building. I was met with silence on the the other end of the line, I was convinced he hung up on me. But he did not, I was told I'd get a call at 11:49 am from costumer service, hope at last! But that hope didn't last long, I knew I would just be wasting valuable time waiting for that phone call, based on the experience I've had so far (update, I never received the call) . So I went back to UPS Chat and I'm pretty sure I was talking to a human, but they repeated the same script from Forest Lake UPS and stone walled me again. After a few back and forth 'Chats' they suggested I call the Forest Lake UPS store for help. I explained I already had but they didn't solve the problem and was told to call costumer service at the 1-800 number and they also didn't solve the problem. I found myself pleading for help. Chat said they would send a message to the to the Hub and I would get a call back at 12:07 and hopefully resolve this problem. I should be receiving a call soon and hopefully get my documents delivered as promised. I have a little hope, yet. My take away: Do not use UPS to deliver important documents, don't take any associates word and get everything in writing and look over their policies thoroughly and do not count on costumer service to help with any issues, UPS customer service is not good for people. Better yet, use a different more reliable delivery service."
"Always professional and helpful. They go out of their way to ensure you are taken care of in the best way possible. They make everything so easy. Thanks UPS store staff"
