Reviews of Kimball Park
"Nice place to walk and take the dogs."
"I am a runner and always run there, it is so peaceful. I can always get a great run at Kimball. I definitely recommend this place, it is a great place to run, walk, swim, and play."
"I understand Kimball Park is an excellent place to go for walking . It's a shame people with their pet dogs do not clean up after their dogs. There is so much dog poop everywhere. What a shame."
"I've been going to Kimball Park off n on for 5 yrs. Now that I have a dog again, we go about 3 to 4 times a week. It's always been a clean and nice park. It still is, but I'm very disappointed with the soccer practice and soccer games. They leave so much trash behind ! I think that is very rude to other participants of this park. It's not just YOUR park ! You should have more pride in this park . "You" meaning, the soccer people, players, coaches most of all ! They need to be stricter in that area. Lay down some rules. It sure , don't give um a good name . Not to me anyway. I bet I'm the only one to say anything about it. People these days are afraid to speak up on matters like this. I don't care what anyone thinks of me for saying what I think is rotten behavior on adults, especially. Littering is no laughing matter, and it's up to all of us to keep the parks , towns, and communities clean and healthy. Don't you agree ? Also, by the restrooms on the south end of the park, they have some sort of get-together where small children attend. I'm not sure what it is called, but they are the worst about leaving a mess behind ! Small.pieces of trash and litter, piece of plastic, chalk, name tags, or these orange wrist bands are what I see a lot left behind. Why is this ok to do ?? I mean aren't these adults supposed to be teaching these children stuff like that ? Or is it just all about having fun with no rules ? I don't know. It just makes no sense to me at all. Clean up after yourselves, no matter what your age is ! I clean my dog poop up, clean your mess too ! Other than all that, its a great park, let's keep it that way ."
"Kimball Park offers convenient amenities, including restrooms situated in the main swim facility lobby, one just north of the same facility, and another near the soccer fields on the southeast corner of the park. Both the soccer and baseball fields are impressively well-maintained, ensuring a great experience for sports enthusiasts. The park boasts a 1.25-mile walking path that's perfect for leisurely strolls, invigorating runs, or enjoyable bike rides. What makes this park even more appealing is the seamless connection of its walking path to another route parallel to the 126 freeway. This connecting path opens up exciting opportunities to explore the government center and venture further west towards Barnes and Noble. If you're seeking a well-equipped and scenic park for outdoor activities, Kimball Park is a fantastic choice. One thing the park does not have is a good play set area for children. There is a small one near the swim facility, but definitely not the size you would expect for such a large park"
