"We had a truly exceptional experience with the three week program. Before we began, I dreaded walks with our 10 month old shepherd because of his pulling and reactivity. After three weeks with Justin, our dog Beau is heeling (not pulling!) and has made huge progress in his ability to see other dogs in public without losing his cool. Justin has fundamentally and compassionately taught us how to be dog parents — he really takes the time to explain the training concepts both from the dog’s perspective and in terms of what we should be thinking and doing as people. He offers various techniques and levels of correction so that we feel prepared for any circumstance we might encounter. Justin trained and then modeled for us how to patiently redirect and de-escalate a hyper, barking puppy into a place where our pup is calmly lying on the grass watching another dog go by.
