"A few days ago, I went to close my pool cover and it wouldn't move. Kind of a big deal since my pool literally borders a playground. I called the company that I normally call for this kind of thing and was told I'd wait 3 days simply to get on the schedule, and that once on the schedule I would likely be seen in 3 weeks! Last time I dealt with this other company I had a very similar experience. So, I went shopping. I found Poolsafe in Sacramento and gave them a call! The woman who answered the phone was very pleasant to speak with and after a brief discussion of my issue, she put me on the schedule during the call! As a bonus, my appointment was in 3 days! Winner, winner, big steak dinner! Yes, they do require a hold on your credit card for the appointment. The other guys do too. That's no big deal, really. Lots of service companies do that now. I figure it's just like when you go to a hotel, and they put a "hold" on your card for incidentals. The day of the appointment, I met Zach who was prompt. He quickly diagnosed the problem as a broken sensor. He had a new one installed, my system fully inspected, and told me what I could probably expect in the coming years with the age of my system. After the appointment, I got a follow up email with some of the highlights of the inspection and a request for review --which is why I'm here. The experience was great! A level of customer service that is increasingly rare these days. I hope nothing else goes wrong with my pool cover, but if it does, I'm calling Poolsafe first. Bravo!"

"Poolsafe requires your credit card number prior to scheduling an appointment. I have never heard of this and seems very risky. I ran it through Next Door and they were in agreement."
