"I do not recommend for younger special needs children. I signed up my 3yr old son who is Autistic and speech delayed for private swimming lessons with coach Loren. Coach Loren doesn’t seem to have much patience with special needs children even though he stated having experience teaching special needs kids to swim. My little one wouldn’t always follow instructions and I could tell the coach would lose his patience and repeat himself in an annoyed manner. If my son failed to do something like float on his back, coach would just let him sink in the water, swallow water, and in a way tell my son I told you so. It seemed like the coach was using “tough love” to teach my son to swim and after signing up my son at another location for private swimming lessons, I could tell this coach was not fit for my special needs son. The new coach is patient and incorporates toys (ball, rubber duck) to get my son engaged and best of all, does not just let him sink and swallow chlorine pool water."

"We have had a great experience with the team here. Our son previously swam for a different team but the coaching style and teammate atmosphere was not ideal for young athletes, and since we have changed to Victory Aquatics our son is enjoying the sport again and making great progress."

"We love Victory Aquatics. They have worked with my 2 sons this summer and gotten them water safe. Both had terrible water anxiety and now LOVE to come to swim practice. My oldest son is also on the autism spectrum and I wasn’t sure he would ever enjoy the water. He is now swimming in the Novice group and working hard to learn his strokes.
