"I recently bought a Janome Skyline S7 from D&H Sewing. I knew I'd like the machine, but wanted to buy it from a reputable store because it's such a big purchase. I called around a lot of locations. The prices were all the same at different shops. D&H threw in a kit with extra feet. I thought that was a great sign that they really wanted my business. None of the other stores offered anything special like they did. I noticed after a few uses that the needle wasn't lining up through the foot holes, and called to see if they could help. I was told right away that I would be taken care of. They had me come the next day so both the sewing expert and machine repair person would both be there to help. They also assured me that they'd fix the problem, and if they couldn't, they'd replace the machine. It turned out to be user error. I had taken the needle position off of the default, and that's why it wasn't working with all the feet. She walked me through the process, showed me how it was likely moved, showed me her stitches on scrap fabric that she did with my machine, and told me how to fix it at home if it happens again. I feel really confident recommending this company. They stand behind their products and go above and beyond to make sure customers are satisfied. I may take a couple sewing classes there too. They included free classes with the sale of my machine. There's also a D&H Sewing in Laguna Niguel. I believe it has the same owners. I picked up my complementary kit at that store."
