Dry Down

"I had water damage in my home due to a plumbing issue, Dry Down was contracted by my plumber to repair the water damage. They came to my home to take out the damaged areas and eliminate the mold. After their visit to my home, the following Monday I was alerted by American Express someone had charged over $2,000. Additionally, someone charged another $1,900 on my banking card. They even had provided a picture of my drivers license to the merchants. In contacting both merchants, we quickly determined I was a victim of identity theft. I contacted 3 police deparments as it spanned not only the stealing of my identity in my home but to the merchants in the surrounding areas. One of the merchants was able to capture a picture of the person who stole my identity and it was the son of the owner of this business. Since this occurred I have never received a phone call from the owner to offer any apology. Aside from my identity being stolen and the disruption to my life, it is most disappointing to not have the owner call me, nor call my plumber to own their actions. I am now wondering how many times this has happened to their other customers."

"I had a pipe burst in my upstairs bathroom at 3am phoned DryDown & had technician out in less than 40 minutes. They were able to shut off the water & dry the mess up and downstairs. David was able to bill my Ins directly and was a pleasure to deal with."

"I had a pipe burst while I wasn't home and when I returned my house was completely flooded. I discovered Dry Down on yelp and immediately called them. An actual person answered the phone and within a couple of hours a technician was at my house cutting the drywall and drying the entire home. Dry Down worked with my insurance company which relieved a lot of my stress. Once the house was dry and prepped for the remodeling, I actually used one of the contractors that Dry Down suggested. I would definitely recommend this company if you get put in the same situation."

"Stay away from this company! They scam homeowners. They worked on the water leak on my crawl space for less than an hour setting up the dehumidifier fans, that they left for 4 days. They said they’ll take care of the mold, put powder on the soil, or replace the soil, to dry it. Their price was outrageous! My home insurance will not cover it either, because of the report that they submitted!!! I just have to do the restoration since the plumber said they need the crawl space dried up first before they can work on the leak. The plumber, their partners in crime, recommended them. Please see my reviews on them too! You’re warned!"

"This company charged us an excessive amount of money for two hours of work. Three guys showed up and opened up the wall, cleaned out our crawlspace and disinfected the exposed area from a toilet drain leak. They ran a dehumidifier for 4 days. That was it. For the amount of work that was done the price was outrageous. Not recommended."
