"This beach is only accessible if you are doing water sports to protect the elephant seals residing on the beach. We were looking for a quiet spot away from tourists and ran into a very gracious and informative Ranger named Romi who appeared like a sage goddess from behind a mossy rock to bestow her wisdom upon us, pointing us in the direction of some quiet and beautiful spots a little further south such as Moonstone Beach and the southern route at San Simeon."

"Made an impulse stop that turned out to be one to remember. Water was full of kitesurfers, cool to see the skill of the surfers and the bright colors of the kites against the water. The beach itself was covered in gigantic elephant seals, all sleeping the day away peacefully."

"We drove here by accident looking for the elephant seal visita point. This Beach is little before the point and beautiful in its Nature. Almost untouched. But it is amazing because you can see the animals here too. Take care where you go here and leave a save distance to the animals. We stopped here just for a half an hour. For surfing it is too rocky."

"Awesome views, the weather is nice, and the beaches are clean. From walking on the beach, a few Elephant seals just hopped out of the ocean, right by us, to come lay on the beach. Amazing place."
