"This guy showed up super fast on the same day. On arrival he determined the garge door wouldnt open due to a broken wire. He quoted $275 to rewire. During the fix he stopped and told me he would tighten the spring and tune up the motor for another $55. I again agreed even though it sounded weird how described. The re-wire was ran in the middle of the wall did not use corners or anything to help hide the wires. After the wires he said just so you know if i tighten the spring it will probably break and i am not responsible for the damage. I then told him do not touch the spring. He immediately began telling me the building inspector is gonna fail my house if he doesnt tighten the spring. I again told him do not touch the spring. He was finished and told me the total was $350. I asked how he came to that total and he said "i do lot of work for you" (about 1.5hrs). i messed up early when he began trying to sell numerous services and told him i only had $300 cash. So now he demanded $300 cash and run my card for $50 more. I told him no, if were running the card im putting the whole amount. He got angry and said if i make him run the $300 the price is $365. I finally said fine just run it and go. However, he refused to run the card until i wrote a review on Thumbtack which he watched me perform. The $50 automatically sent me a receipt for that amount and i asked when i would get a detailed report on the $300. He advised he would send once he got home. He text me when he got home and said he would send it the next morning. To date i still have been unable to get a receipt for the work. Also he left all garbage from the work, all of the wire pieces and tape all still on my garage floor. The only "tune up" he did was spray the rollers with WD40. Cool part is he used my WD40. So to run 3 wires 6ft on the outside of the wall, cost me $350, some WD40, use of my ladder, and me cleaning the garge after he threw trash everywhere. Moral of the story i was in need and i paid nicely to correct it. He is a nice guy but there is definitely some shady dealings going on. Plus the guerrilla tactics to obtain positive reviews. Im young enough to know better but i can only imagine how visits go at an elderly house. He uses his broken english and fast talking to make things appear legit."

"This was a great experience having St.Mary's come and perform the necessary tasks that needed to be done. Technician was very knowledgeable about what will make your door perform like new. Had a problem with my garage door opener he explained and showed me the problem. He suggested that it needed to be straightened and lifted up he said he could make it right for a small fee "I said let's do it" and I'll tell you I've haven't had my door work so well since I can't remember when..He performed all these tasks in good time.
