"my family lives in blackhawk and are members of this club. it is a beautiful community, beautiful club and the pool area itself is totally fine. what needs severe improvement is the staff who run the pool and their attitudes/demeanor. upon arriving they were questioning our membership/affiliation and brought out a “pool manager” who was extremely belittling to the point where it felt gross and discriminatory. as a non-white family, i couldn’t help but feel racist undertones as i observed white families arriving almost immediately after us without being questioned about their membership or reasons for being there."

"This venue has been thoroughly enjoyable for years. Drinks of reasonable variety are available, which is nice for us parent/residents who know the long summer days of watching the kids in the sun. There has always been a real, present tropical vibe going on with the staff! And none the less, an EXTREMELY CHEAP childcare service is provided within close proximity as a great community amenity for those who enjoy being active in the daytime. They are welcoming and accepting of a great range of ages,, Why doesn’t everyone come to Blackhawk?!"
