"We found this beach because I got lost. I was trying to get to Muir beach. But it is a beautifull place and hope to go back. Parking, took us a while but they dobhave their parking area. Highway 1 , I still thought it was scary to look over to my left because there was nothing but open sea and giant rocks and boulders driving there is scary."

"Epic, sweeping beach in Stinson Beach. The kind you see in the movies. Clearly-marked one side for dogs and the other side for just people. Our boy Gerbert frolicked joyfully all over the place, met a ton of other dogs, and we all had a total blast. Carefree, miles of shore, the best of Northern California. 5 stars!!!!"

"stinson beach is a great beach to visit. beautiful sandy beach with lots of shore line to walk and explore. at times on the weekends the beach can get pretty crowded so it's best to arrive early to be able to find parking and a good place to set up a spot on the beach. the Cafe near by sells tasty pizza and pastries. during summer months they have lifeguards. if you go down the beach a bit they allow dogs. multiple bathroom locations. the bathrooms can get a little gross and occasionally run out of toilet paper and soap. but other than that great beach and great place to spend the day. the town is very small no hotels near by that I'm aware of."
