"I needed help unclogging a shower drain that had a lot of buildup in the pipe. When I called Roto Rooter I got someone to help me right away and said they would have someone out within the next 2 hours. I was shocked at how quickly they could get someone out. I heard back from the technician an hour later he came out right away. The technician was nice, straight to the point, I showed him the drain and he got to work right away. He unclogged the drain with the auger machine in less than 10 minutes. Service all around was great! However, I will not be using Roto Rooter ever again nor will I recommend them to anyone. They charged me $543 to unclog the drain that took less than 10 minutes of work. Absolute robbery. I was asked to agree to the price before work was started so yes I agreed. I could have declined the price. I had no idea what it was going to take to unclog the drain. I assumed it was a big job that required a payment of that amount. I paid it and moved on. After talking with a few people after the fact, I realized how overcharged I was and felt angry and taken advantage of. Maybe that’s the going rate nowadays but if it is, it is so overpriced. Thanks for your service but sorry never again."

"Marcus was absolutely phenomenal. He came in on a holiday and worked tirelessly for hours straight to figure out a way to get a hard clogged pipe cleared. He was professional, knowledgeable, and determined. Truly so lucky we got him as the tech who came out to help my family be able to use our home for the New Years. He even saw and added onto the work order parts that needed to be changed on our toilet.
