Reviews of Technopia
"I have zero complaints. Jason and Sonia were very upfront about charging me a diagnostic fee to check what was wrong with my TV — when they couldn’t fix it, they didn’t charge me any further amounts for their labor or time, and even offered to recycle my old TV for free. One of those rare experiences where everything works just as it should, even when things go wrong. They couldn’t have been nicer or easier to work with."
"Our 3.5 year old TCL TV suddenly stopped working and instead of buying another one we decided to take it to Technopia for a repair. We couldn’t have been happier with the result. Jason was able to fix our TV in a few days for a better price than buying a new one and without the additional waste of another TV. Thank you Technopia!"
"Was polite. Answered all of my questions. Unfortunately he does not repair DSLR cameras, but made a recommendation on a shop that does. I feel like he was really trying to help despite not getting any business for himself out of the deal. Will definitely consider this shop for any future repairs."
"took my iPhone 12 to Jason to replace the battery. However, per him, due to the replacement battery is bulkier than the original one, he had to replace the display as well. Immediately, my phone showed red flags of non-compatible parts on both battery and display and I could not get reading of battery capacity. When I took it back to Jason, he suggested to "hard reset" while I did in front of him. Red flags still persisted. But, it got worse from there. My iPhone would randomly launched apps, randomly dialed calls. Moreover, the phone would shut itself down every two or three days due to overheating. Jason insisted it is not caused by the battery nor the display he installed. Finally, I took it Apple store for genuine Apple battery and display. During the installation by Apple, its technician found out that Jason "scrubbed" the circuit during his installation, not only his parts are not genuine Apple ones. Now, the iPhone problems are gone. The big disappointment is, Jason used to do a decent job in my previous transactions with him. Not only he did not come clean with truth this time, costing me more than two hundred dollars for his messy works and parts, He broke the trust. I will not go back there again."
"2/10/17 After careful consideration I've decided to give Technopia 5-stars. My other option was writing to Google and asking if they could add some extra stars for this stellar business, but I figured a 100% score was good enough. Though they've been in the electronics repair business 25 years, you may not know they also repair all types of cell phones, since they only started this side of their business a couple of years ago. Jason spoke with me on the phone about a repair to my Samsung Galaxy S5 charging port. He ordered the part for me and I brought it in today; the day before leaving on an international trip. I expressed the importance of not deleting any files on the phone (this happened to me once after a screen replacement somewhere else) and he assured me it would be in good hands. It certainly was! Only a few hours later a woman from the business called me and said my phone was ready for pickup. It works perfectly. AND THE BEST PART??!! Their price was significantly less than anywhere else I called. (And the turn-around time was very fast.) Highly-efficient work, high-quality work product, and low-cost to the consumer. I say that earns them at least a five-star review!"
