A1 Sewing and Vacuum

"I needed a belt for my Hoover vacuum so I went to A-1 Vacuum-Sewing this afternoon. The store was closed so I called the posted number and spoke with Bobby. He confirmed he has the belt and offered to meet me at the store a few hours later. Turns out my son had a belt so I cancelled the order with Bobby. Bobby’s offer to meet me at A-1 Vacuum-Sewing with the vacuum belt was 5-Star customer service! When I need repairs or parts in the future, for either my vacuum or sewing machine, A-1 Vacuum-Sewing will have my business."

"I guess this company is changing or adding jackets to their goods as it's listed as the return address for the online retailer, The Jacket Maker. I ordered the Black Ionic Leather Jacket directly from the seller's site and really wish I hadn't wasted the time. The jacket felt light and the leather was very thin. The material inside the sleeves was also unforgivable and stiff. I followed the instructions that came with the jacket and had to pay to ship it back to them. After starting the return process I started to receive numerous computer generated emails from The Jacket Maker offering me discounts rather than a refund to which I declined only to continue getting the same emails. I finally had to dispute the charge and on the last day the seller had to reply to the dispute they instead emailed me directly trying to get me to cancel the payment dispute in order to receive a refund. Long story short, save yourself the grief and look elsewhere."

"They do not repair sewing machines anymore. They might still be selling what sewing machines and vacuums they still have on hand. They apparently do something with men's dress jackets though, there were racks and racks filling 3/4 of the store."

"Although they did repair my mother's sewing machine. They lost the power cord and pedal. Every time I came back to pick it up they had the wrong part. I did this 3 times. then promised to reorder and replaced, but never called me back. the 2 stars was for the repair. otherwise it would have been one star. :("

"This place has good amount of parts that I needed for my sewing machine. I also brought my vacuum cleaner here for repair. The guy gives you good explanations of what needs to be done and an upfront price for the service. The decision is up to you whether you want it fix or not."
