"I just moved back to the city and wanted to try a new experience. I found the hand building series after doing a wheel throwing “try me” class. I didn’t know what to expect as I’ve never done any ceramics in my life. At the end of the series I left with good memories, amazing hand built pieces that adorn my home and ultimately new friends. The studio is a great place for community, creativity and fun. Anthony, Summer and Kelly were so helpful throughout my experience at the studio. I am definitely going back to try other offerings!"

"This review is a long time coming, but here we go. I discovered this gem of a place while walking by on a winter evening and their lights were on. I'm drawn to places that look eclectic and peaceful and this place delivered in spades. I ended up with Kelly and her team about hosting our staff holiday party. We do difficult work supporting foster youth in SF at SFCASA and needed a place that would help us be creative and also restore. My team was not disappointed. The staff were trauma-informed (who knew trauma-informed practices could be infused in business?) and helped us with some Mindfulness practices while we built our wonderful lopsided pieces. They also allowed us to use their backyard oasis when it was time to eat Since then, I have received newsletters and have seen their dedication to community and equtable access to their services. Their focus on youth is especially needed and I am grateful. This place is a gem. Please make your way to artillery even if chances are you'll create a lump of clay with finger prints on it ( I did that). The Zen aura is worth a visit!"

"loved this place! stumbled upon it and the human working there were bomb! inviting, smiling, they answered my many questions, showed me around the studio and the yard. they display and sell different artists' (employees and students!) creations. good vibes for real in this place. will definitely carve out a minute to take a class next time I'm in town."
