"An exceptional experience for kids . My kids came home with beautiful, high quality things that they were so proud of. This is not your average camp. I highly recommend Camp Couture."
"Our ten-year-old loved Camp Couture summer camp. Mary gained so many skills and confidence over just one week. Alexandria is both a word-class designer and caring educator. Alexandria striked the right balance of instilling professional high standards along with cultivating the techniques and growth mindset to get there. We'll definitely go back."
"Our 8 yr old daughter did a one week sewing camp and had a great time and learned a bunch. They made a really nice bag for the final project. The other girls were friendly and the teacher seems to really enjoy working with the kids. We would do it again."
"After recommendations from school friends and parents, my daughter took a week long camp here and loved it! It's not a traditional summer camp with running around outdoors, arts & crafts and well organized extended care. It's something slightly less organized but more magical. The camp size was very small - just 6 kids ranging in ages from 6 to 10 or so and it sounded like all the work and activity was fairly independent rather than group focused. But my daughter loved it. She wasn't bored. She got excited about creating new pieces. After just a week of using our sewing machine at camp for the first time, she created an apron, halloween costume (complete with cape and wand), a messenger bag and skirt! The instructors help piece things together but my daughter has a huge sense of accomplishment for having mastered the art of threading the needle, threading the bobbin, using different stitches, sewing a hem, etc. She can't wait to buy her own fabric and make more projects at home (after teaching me to use the machine, of course!). We will definitely return. The only reason I did not give a 5/5 stars was the confusion over and expense of after hours / extended care. With such a small operation I understand why it's pricey and casual but it was still annoying for a working/commuting parent."
