"Great company for mitigation of any problems you may have (that warrants the second star). Just be aware of their business practices. I got nicked and dimed but was able to catch them in the act. I had a flood at home and called my insurance company. I was put in touch with a local independent adjuster to write up the estimate of what needed to be replaced. If I could save another desperate homeowner...be alert and pay close attention to what they are wanting to replace in your home! You're primary adjuster is through your insurance company; not the locally contracted adjuster. The adjuster talked up a great game for us to go out and pick out styles and colors to restore our home. We went along with it until they realized my insurance company didn't pay out what they were expecting. I found this out because whenever you have total loss of something, there's a specific breakdown of every charge and every tasks to be completed to mitigate the cause and restore your home. You'll be amazed to see how much companies like this makes off your insurance company. For example, they quoted $120 to replace and hook up my washer and dryer. They also wanted us to go with their vendors for flooring and cabinetry. Do not let them scam you in this nature. For example, if you need flooring replaced, they will have a "flooring guy" come out and show some material. The floor samples they showed us was overpriced and under quality compared to what we found elsewhere. Regarding the cabinetry, do not go along with their "cabinet guy." Through multiple conversations with their cabinet guy, he stated: "I make custom cabinets and make cabinets for all kinds of people around the area. I typically sell to people living in La Jolla and those areas. I also send my work to clients in San Francisco. So I'm giving you a good deal and I give a special discount for law enforcement as a way to say thank you. See, I move my business down to Mexico and I have most of my family, like my brothers, cousins, and some friends who help me with building them. So I have to pay them as well with the money I make. So that's why it's a little pricier than what you will find elsewhere, but it's custom high quality and you won't be disappointed." If you own your home and have a loss, there's two parts to the game: mitigation and restoration. Once the problem is resolved, mitigation is complete. You can continue with them or choose another company to restore your home. Do not sign any contract unless you're confident you can have a complete understanding of what will be expected and how they will go about with restoring your home. You have every right to pick out material sourced from wherever you want. In the end, I ended up stopping the work after waiting 6 days to learn I had to source my own material for them to install. Furthermore, be aware that their project supervisor and insurance adjuster are brothers so they will work hand in hand to promise you the world, but end up selling so far short."
