"Goldshine cleaning took it upon themselves to cancel a confirmed cleaning appointment less than 24 hours prior to a MAJOR holiday. They at first wanted to reschedule to a later time, this seemed great. I understand conflicts arise, and to accommodate me within the same day of the original appointment. Perfect. They confirm the time and I hung up the phone, only to get called 2 hours later with "sorry Sir we have to cancel the rescheduled time to after the holiday" not cool man"

After speaking to them on the phone we felt comfortable trying out their services. They had good reviews online, but you just never know until you see for yourself. The two ladies they sent were very friendly and arrived right on time. They started cleaning in the kitchen as it needed a deep clean. They cleaned every cupboard, the fridge, oven, stove, and even the pantry. Got all the grease off the exhaust and over-the-range-microwave, and shined up the coffee maker. When they moved out to the rest of the home they were just as thorough. Honestly, our home has never looked so clean! They do such a good job that we only need to have them come every other week. My wife is thrilled to have found a solution to our cleaning needs, and I would definitely recommend this company if you're in the market for a great maid service!"

"These guys aren't just great, they're awesome. Seriously! I've tried a number of other cleaning services over the past two years, and have been largely disappointed with either their level of reliability or the quality of the actual cleaning. Not so for Golden Shine. My experience was nothing short of a pleasure from start to finish. I called them up to get a quote for my apartment, and Angie gave me an estimate and outlined exactly what would be covered in the cleaning. They were able to send Diana over the next day, which was pretty cool. I wasn't able to be there for the cleaning, so I left them instructions on how to get in and told them I'd be back in time to check on the work. My apartment was in pretty bad shape, and I was expecting Diana to be able to do a decent tidy-up of the place, but wasn't hoping for any miracles. Imagine my surprise when I walked back in to find the place totally spotless. Transformed is the word. I'm a bit of a clean freak, and I don't think I've ever gotten this place to look so nice. I was both impressed and grateful, and can't wait to schedule my next cleaning. From their customer service down to the quality of the actual cleaning, Golden Shine is the real deal, and I would highly advise anyone in need of a great house cleaning to give these guys a call."

"Brief Explanation of the e-mails below. I will NEVER be using their services again. This was my 3rd time using their agency. They were supposed to be here at 1. They told me in the morning they were running late. At 2:30 I finally called to find out what was up. Apparently there was a communication error. They were supposed to be here around 3:30. They called saying it'd be 20 minutes. ...Then almost an hour later, they arrived. They did not clean the tub. So, I emailed Molly there who answers their e-mails. Here is Molly's reply and then my reply. An example of how horrible you may be treated by their customer service. Remember this is my 3rd time hiring them. --- Hi Michelle, Sorry for just getting back to you. I spoke with Nigora this morning and she did say that they cleaned the tub, and that they pulled the curtain shut after they cleaned. If you are unhappy with the service, I would be happy to send one of them back to fix the tub. I know that you have a pretty busy schedule, so if you don't have time to have someone back, I understand. If that's the case, I'd be happy to take $25 off your next cleaning. I just want to let you know though, both Annette and Nigora have said your home is much dirtier than they have time for. Both of them recommended sending two housekeepers for a good 3 hours if you really want things done correctly. Please let me know what you would like to do. --- Molly, I appreciate that Nigora says that they cleaned the tub, but it is clearly not been scrubbed. I took a green sponge to it and the soap came right off. I do not have time in my schedule to have them return today. I will handle it myself. I am offended by your statement that my home is "dirty". If this was an issue, I would have expected it to be brought to my attention before. This is not the first time I have hired Golden Shine cleaners. Annette has done an amazing job and always does so within a reasonable time frame without hurrying. If you want to keep customers, you might want to avoid telling clients that their homes are "dirty" in the future. I will no longer be using Golden Shine's services."
