Reviews
"A truly gorgeous natural public space, and clearly a gift to the Portola Valley community. I've mostly been involved with the tennis program there (+1 Tennis Academy) and the coaches, courts, balls, and players are phenomenal. The general natural splendor of the space is also something to behold. Would highly recommend for any number of communal outdoor activities."
"Facing west off a corner of the rec district parking lot and shielded by foliage is a park bench with tranquil views of pastureland and lovely sunsets. Look for it."
"General manager Di rudely refused to allow me to come inside and fill a water bottle (after I explained to her I had a thirsty puppy in my truck). Have been here multiple times with my son (he goes to the school next door) and never once blocked entrance, apparently I wasn't dressed nice enough on this day to even be allowed brief usage of their water fountain. This was also done in front of 3 young children she was interacting with at the same time, great example for the youth who attend. Thanks Di!"
"Private club with pool and 4 tennis courts. A player I coached teaches there. A quiet place in a wooded area."
"Ladera Recreation District is a fun place to visit. I haven't been to the other facilities of the Rec centre, but I highly recommend going for a swim. Super fun!"
