"We were quote $79 for a simple spot clean on a small carpet. Technician was at the client's location for 25 minutes, convinced the client she needs a special cleaning fluid. We were charged almost $300 for the service. Spot was cleaned, but we feel robbed. We will not use them again."

"Agreed with prior reviewer. Booked this company before moving to clean some rugs and couch. While the technician was nice, he was from a different company which was confusing. The actual cleaning was below the bare minimum of what was expected especially at >$100 per run. The rugs don't look much cleaner and the apartment has a wet mildewy smell to it. Also for payment they only accepted Zelle and cash which was not mentioned when I booked."

"Misleading company. Poor communication. I am prone to allergies and respiratory issues. Since I’m moving to a new apartment I wanted my carpets steamed. The landlord had already cleaned the carpets but I specifically wanted to have my carpets steamed to disinfect it. When I called Two Guys Carpet Cleaning on the phone and asked if they’re able to do steam cleaning of carpet, they say yes. So I booked them, appointment was a 3 hour time window of 2pm-5pm. The technician was very late, arriving at 7pm. And when the technician arrived he is only able to do hot water extraction cleaning. He tries to convince me that it’s “steam” but the machine is definitely not hot enough to produce steam. I wanted to check how hot the water is so I asked and the technician let me touch the water sprayed from his machine’s nozzle. It’s only warm, no more than 140F. No hotter than my coffee in the morning. Not steam at all. Now to be clear, the technician did a fine job with cleaning. But that’s not why I hired him. The company had mislead me on the phone to believe their machine can produce steam for disinfection. Bait and switch. If you just want your carpet cleaned. They can do that just fine. But don’t believe what they say about steaming carpets."
