I’m extremely happy for finding Costin with Giland Builders to redo all my flooring and renovation of my 3 bathrooms. He is extremely professional, always on time , very high quality work , he always responded very quick to all my texts and phone calls and to all questions I had . His prices are more than fair and he delivered above my expectations! His crew is very respectful, hard working and clean ! "Ok, I have done business with a few contractors in the past and normally been frustrated. It's always a scary time picking someone for a job you need done. I did the demo on my bathroom myself and almost decided to try and do the tub install and tile myself - and boy I am glad I did not try doing it myself!! Luckily, I found Giland Builders and owner Costin to do our project. We liked the pictures of his work and his pricing was very competitive so we decided to go with them and it was the best move we ever did. Costin was always responsive to my emails and texts and always true to his word which is huge when dealing with a contractor. His quote was the most professional with everything spelled out ahead of time for the cost involved with the project. Other contractors would just list a handwritten note on the quote to "install tube/tile/fixtures" and then give me a total price and I had no clue what was costing what, which I did not like. Costins 2 man crew showed up the morning he said they would which was a Friday - then they worked Saturday and back at it Mon, Tues, and Wednesday when they finished. I got to watch a lot of the work being done and yes, it really does take that long to do the work right and was way more work than I had imagined. Our drain was original from when the house was built in the 60's and was corroded with holes and needed replacing. The crew had to dig down and replace the line and p-trap and tie into the sewer line a few feet under ground but now we have peace of mind knowing that should never give us problems as long as we are here in this house. The laying of the tile was amazing to watch Eric (lead crew member) do as everything is really dead on. Cutting the tile on a curve to follow the tub contour is just perfect. They even fixed a floor tile (luckily I had extra from 13 years previous) that needed a new cut for a nicer fit at the tub and corner wall. During the 5 days of work I believe Costin stopped in 3 or 4 times to check on everything and answer any questions we had but you could tell his crew knew what they were doing and really didn't need much supervision but it was nice to see him stop in and check on the progress to make sure it was up to the standards he expected them to do on the job. Really happy with the whole process and end results!! We highly recommend Costin and Giland Builders for any contractor work you may need done. Eric & Gretchen Reynolds"
