"Just experienced the quality performance of the SERVPRO Team of San Marcos. Had a water leak inside an interior wall and then the fun began. My insurance company, USAA, recommended SERVPRO. "Very reliable company, quick to respond and was on time. I personally used their services when I had an emergency of water damaged in my house from the upstairs toilet leaking water to the downstairs when ever it was flushed. I called these guys and they were showed up in less than a hour of me contacting them. Sean Rojas who was my service advisor. He was very knowledgeable, professional, and his entire team were sweet and respected my home. He did his analysis damage when they showed up and explained to in detail that water from the toilet has damaged the wall after testing the wall and also traced the leakage and piping. He wrote me a very reasonable and affordable competitive estimate that beat the other two companies I have called before them. Their quality of work was way beyond excellence. "We had an upstairs sink overflow at our house. We called SERVPRO that night to schedule water damage mitigation for the following morning. We were linked up to one of the local branches which was the North Vista/San Marcos branch. SERVPRO has a customer service company culture, and it made a stressful process a lot easier. They also always called to let me know when they were on their way and when they were done for the day. This review will detail how the timeline of the project and how impressed we were with them. (Friday - Day 1 of SERVPRO coming onsite) Luis our project manager arrived on time and began his initial damage assesment that morning. He was able to communicate everything directly with our homeowners insurance. He provided us an honest assesment and timeline of what would need to be done to dry-out the house. He also scheduled various other services for us to make the process simpler. He found a vendor to pack up our TV and electronics to keep them safe since they were in the work area. He also was able to have our garage packed up and taken to storage to protect our stuff and create room for the crew to work. An electrician came by to help make sure that the drying equipment would not trip any of the homes circuit breakers. By the end of the first day, a crew had come by to set up dehumidifiers and fans. (Saturday and Sunday - Day 2 and 3) The fans and dehumidifiers ran all weekend. A member of the team named Mike came by once per day to check on the equipment and take moisture readings. He was very helpful answered my questions, and always called to give us a timeline of when he would come by the house for the day. (Monday - Day 4) After the fans and dehumidifers had run all weekend, it was time for parts of the interior of the home to be opened up. That morning Hugo and Federico arrived onsite to start their work. Hugo was excellent at answering my questions, and walking me through exactly how they were going to do things. Hugo and Federico were extremley respectful to our house and our belongings the whole time they were onsite. On this particular day, we also starting coordinating with Patti and Mike regarding the packing up and storage of the contents of our garage. (Tuesday - Day 5) Hugo and Federico continued their work to carefully move our belongings out of the work area. They also started to put up plastic sheeting to contain any debris or dust that might come from the work area. Some of our flooring and baseboards came out on this day to dry out the subflooring and drywall. Hugo was extremely thoughtful towards our 2 year old daughter and made sure that if he moved any of her toy boxes, that they would be somewhere she could find and access. (Wednesay Day 6) This was the day that sections of drywall were removed to air out the studs and beams of our house. Hugo and Federico continued to do a fantastic job at keeping me updated as to what they were doing and why they were doing it. They kept everything clean, they were vacuuming constantly and doing everything they could to keep any dust from leaving the containment area. The crew from SERVPRO also came by that morning to packout the garage, they took an extremely detailed inventory of everything packed up and pictures as to where everything goes when it gets put back. (Thursday - Day 7) Felipe joined Federico on this day, and continued through the next day. The two of them continued to take moisture readings and sanitize the studs and beams of the house. Felipe was also extremely helpful and knowledagble about the process. (Friday Day 8) On this day they had determined everything was dry. Felipe and Federico carefully took down the containments. They also took the time to make the house safe for our 2 year old to occupy again. They covered the areas that were worked on with tape, plastic and cardboard. They made the house livable until repairs are approved by insurance. (Saturday Day 9) Sean came onsite and removed the last of the equipment and verified the job was finished. We signed paperwork, and we were complete."
