"Nov. 2023 I have been coming here off and on for years. A nice older gentleman owned it and he kept it very clean and kept up on repairs. Well the gentleman is gone and the place is under new ownership. The place has really gone downhill. The place is dirty, a machine was half full of dirty, gross water in it and no out of order ticket on it. Another machine had dirt and debris in it. The machines smell moldy. Most were dirty. There was a young girl sitting in the back when she should have been cleaning machines and putting out of order signs out on broken machines. I think her family owns it. Well, I put $18 in 6 machines to wash in hot water. When I checked my machines and all of them had cold water! When I told her, she called the owner and then she accused me of FORGETTING TO SELECT HOT WATER (on all 6 machines??) and blamed me for the cold water, and refused to reimburse me my $18 plus soap!! This place has no ethics and didn't care that I had to rewash my clothes!! The girl had a nasty attitude then, and I had to take my wet laundry, put it in car and go somewhere else! I will never go back there and I warned my friends not to go there. I'm positive that they will go somewhere else and that the owner lost more business than my $18+ loss of money. Not a smart business man. Dec.2023 update Hello Again! I thought I'd leave an update! I have found a huge, clean, well run laundrymat to go to for my laundry! It is off the Ave next door to the new 7/11 store. It is OLAS EXPRESS LAUNDRYMAT. 505 N. VENTURA AVE (corner is CENTER STREET.) The first thing I noticed was how clean the place was! Complete with an AVAILABLE restroom! There was a staff of 3 women doing the Wash & Fold laundry and also cleaning machines and tables. They are there from 6:00a.m. thru 10:00pm There are plenty of chairs to sit on. There are beautiful artwork on the walls. There is a play area with toys for children. There are 4 large rows of washing machines some so large, you can wash 9 loads of laundry at once! Dryers of various sizes and prices along the walls and several rows of nice, clean, tables to fold on. For a 2 load washer is $3.75 to wash. I dried my clothes in 30 min for $2.00. Lots of available, clean machines! There's plenty of parking and a new 7/11 store next door. OLAS is going to be my laundrymat from now on! Try it, you'll like it!"
"AMAZING service and very clean. Highly recommend! **Hours for wash and fold are weekdays only. CLOSED Saturday and sunday*** We dropped off some clothes at the wash and fold and mistakenly thought the hours were the same as the laundromat. We found out that the wash and fold is closed during the weekend so were in a bit of a bind. Luckily, we were able to reach the owner who accommodated us and was able to retrieve our clothes rather than having to buy clothes for the weekend. Extremely thankful for the service provided and accommodation. Thank you!!"
"Machine took money and attendant refused to help and witnessed it happen to someone else while there. Dryers also do not run for the amount of time they are supposed to. It was clean but lost money."
"Check out all the washers first. Many different prices. There were $3,50 front loaders near the back. Wish I saw those before paying $4.50. A Meh experience. One washer barely spun my clothes. I could ring out water by hand. My hot dryer was cold. Nobody to help. Otherwise clean facility"
"The place is kept clean, the machines are well maintained, and there's this one huge 8 load washer that I just love. It seriously holds 8 loads and gets everything really clean for about $8 which is half what it would cost in individual machines. If you tend to put laundry off until there's too much, that huge washer is the best. People might complain that sometimes the homeless are there doing laundry but personally I think it's a good thing they're keeping clean, you know?"
