"This place doesn't just take forever, but they over charge in a way that doesn't even remotely make sense. I had 3 items. 1 jumpsuit, 1 dress, 1 blazer. The total was $113.50 The jumpsuit was $57.50. I only paid $100 for it and wore it for less than 2 hours. It wasn't stained or terribly wrinkled. I just didn't feel like ironing it. It is machine washable. When I questioned them, the response was..."oh was this your first time here?" Because what, your cleaning chemicals are made from unicorn dust? This is the most ripped off I have ever been. Unbelievable."

"Very Disappointed in the work. This was a very expensive company. The work they did is substandard. The deal was all base boards would be cleaned, they were not even touched. Fact is we have stone floors and one small throw rug. They never even bothered to vacuum it. Yes they did the floor about as well as I do. We were promised so much and they delivered so little. The person who came kept calling me "DUDE" wrong gender for DUDE! That lack of respect should have been my first clue. I'm a 60+ year old woman, not a DUDE! The bathtub was never cleaned. I guess it looked to clean to wipe. They are very nice people! So if you're looking for friends, these are the folks. BUT! If you want a clean house find anyone else! I gave them a poor-fair rating only because they have no lower rating listed here. Once burned, twice as smart. Connie Servative"

"Look, Crystal is expensive. No doubt. But not nearly as expensive as replacing that stained garment you are going to bring to them. And we have been absolutely *shocked* by the quality of their service. Example One: We brought them our wedding dress. It turns out, it is good luck in Persian weddings to dance on top of rose petals. It also turns out that red rose petals, crushed under foot, turn about the bottom 5 inches of your ivory white wedding dress the color of Merlot Wine. Now, rose petals have been used for ink and dyes throughout history, so at this point, we figured our only option was to cut the bottom of the dress off. But the pattern made that a no-go. We brought it to Crystal based on a recommendation, and honestly assumed it was never coming out. Also gave my ivory white shirt - more Merlot stains from rose petals. Outcome: 100% gone. Not even a faded trace of merlot, *anywhere*. And no discoloration. Literally, we could sell the dress as new. I simply cannot imagine how they did it ... Example Two: Grease stain on custom-created brown wool suit pants. Already through one dry cleaners, no help. At that point, you figure it's set in there for good. I tried Crystal based on the experience from the wedding dress. Though I live in Mountain View, it was worth the trip all the way to San Mateo. Outcome: flawless. The outcomes are impeccable, and the service is friendly. Yes, it's expensive, but you are absolutely getting your money's worth."
