"Dr. Abdoo discovered that I had melanoma in my toe. My regular doctor pretty much ignored it. Dr. Abdoo performed a biopsy that came back normal and then asked my permission to do another deeper biopsy. He was convinced that it was something and was determined to find out. When I learned that it was cancer I was a bit upset, but he was so caring and kind. My life expectancy was18 months. That was over 8 years ago! It’s not curable, but he’s given me so many joyful moments over the years with my kids and grandkids. Between Dr. Abdoo and UCSF I have had the greatest care and I am so grateful."
