"Today, Schwab discontinued access to a Reuters issued report "U S Research Roundup" without any prior notice or note in their link. When I inquired, I was told that someone would call me back, but did not. I subsequently talked to a supervisor, Susan Mielhammer, who told me this Report was discontinued as a "business decision." In asking what the basis of this was she said it was a "business decision" again, and again. When asking if I could speak to somebody involved in that department, the supervisor said that they were do not have customer response included in their job responsibilities. This Reuters report was particular useful for those who are managing their own accounts because it provided a compilation of all research analyst views on target prices and change in investment opinion that were issued on a particular day. It is very troubling to me that a company that represents itself as being customer friendly but does not permit a method to express an opinion about their service to senior management, particularly since I have five Schwab accounts and have had accounts with Schwab for 40 years."
"They sent my entire 401K to the wrong person during a transfer. They then dragged their feet for months getting my money back. It took over 5 months to complete a simple transfer, and my 401K was deposited into someone else's account for 1 of those months with Charles Schwab not able to guarantee that the balance was even still there. They did not give me a single apology and were incredibly rude with me throughout the process."
