"Took me dog there once and NEVER AGAIN. The cut him TWICE !! Once on each ear and they didn’t even tell me about it. They also left spot that were uneven and a patch the wasn’t cut. $80 for a 12lb dog is ridiculous on top of all the mistakes they made. Next time tell the owner you cut there dog so they know to treat the wound atleast."

"While doing a self-wash on our dog, they ran out of warm water .. our dog started shivering and shaking due to the cold water. When I asked the attendant if they could turn back on the hot water, they told me that whenever they do laundry, none of the stalls gets warm water. When I tried to complain to the manager, he told me , "Oh.. dogs prefer cold water - it's better for them". This place must have experienced a change of ownership recently since I didn't recognize any of the personnel. Been going there for years, but NO MORE."

"The BEST! Great price, great location, great staff. My 3 year old dog named Goose jumps out of the car and wags his tail heading for the door because he is somehow actually excited to go in. The staff loves him there and I think it’s reciprocated because he always knows where we are going and is excited. I moved to Normal Heights 10 months ago. I’ve been taking my pup here every 3 or so weeks. He’s a 25 lb poodle mix. I go back and forth between a Small Dog Bath + Tidy and a Small Dog Groom based on what he needs at the time. They do an excellent job. Very very well priced. He always leaves happy, smelling and looking dapper, with a fresh bandana. I always wind up getting him a big bone or some awesome treat from their front shop to treat him because it’s well deserved. They do an awesome job at scheduling. You can book easily online or if you need help give them a call no problem. They can typically get him in within a few days or less. Which is rare. Before I found Top Dog I was always having to book a few weeks out which just doesn’t worrk with my constantly changing and spontaneous schedule. Love using small businesses when they are this awesome. Your wallet, your pup + you will love Top Dog. Highly recommend!!!!"
