"I have been taking my dogs to be groomed at my local Petco since 2007. Yesterday I took my senior rescue, Dobby, for his appointment and was turned away by the new manager. She seemed to be looking for a reason not to take him, and I made the mistake of telling her that he is on medication for kidney disease. This is not dangerous or contagious, but she said that she would have to refer me to a vet "for his safety." When I told her that Dobby has been groomed there multiple times since I adopted him in 2018, she said that due to his age, they could not groom him, and that this is a corporate policy. I asked why they took the appointment, if Dobby is too old according to their policy, which they never shared with me. She said, "They've been working here without a manager for over two years, but I'm here now." I was frustrated by the lack of empathy, and the lack of notice regarding grooming a senior dog. If I'd known, I would have been able to find another groomer before I left on a 9-day trip to Seattle. As it was, I had to wait for several weeks to get an appointment with a groomer who doesn't have a policy against my senior rescue dog."

Your sales people were very patient and helpful with me since I am not tech savvy and the service requires using the app on my cell phone."
