"Dr.Matthew’s was my saving grace! I had been dealing with the extremely painful effects of plantar fasciitis for months. Anytime I would walk it would feel like my foot was tearing itself with every step , especially in the morning when I would get out of bed would be the most excruciating pain. I had been going to physical therapy advised by my doctor and also foot insoles which was helping slowly but I was still in a lot of pain. I had a vacation coming up and when I was still in agonizing pain I knew I had to do something else to help it or I would be suffering on my vacation. When I tried to make an appt with my primary doctor’s office the doctor decided to go remote ^_^ and cancelled my appt with her just a few days before I was supposed to leave on vacation out of country and I was put in a bad situation. That’s when I researched pediatrists near me and fount foot and ankle concepts, I called in and they were able to get me in the very next day! I was able to get a foot injection by Doctor Matthew’s which wasn’t as painful as I thought it was going to be. And by his saving grace I was relieved of my pain shortly after and was able to walk barefoot again , which saved me from pains on my vacation and I was able to walk on the beach AND even walk in ancient Mayan ruin water caves BAREFOOT (had to in respects to their culture) on rocks and limestone. Overall this office saved me and I would highly recommend them if you are suffering with foot problems!! :)"

"The doctor was amazing, plain and simple. The challenge was that my individual insurance policy baffled the staff when I passed it along. It wasn't Covered CA, but they thought it was. A little polite arguing led to a call to their billing department who confirmed it wasn't Covered CA, but it was belittling hearing staff effectively whispering that I'm an idiot and don't know what I'm talking about even though it turned out that I did. The bills that were mailed didn't accurately reflect payment from me, and one visit was billed in three separate pieces over the next 5 months. It's all wrapped up now and I'm left wondering how such an awesome experience with the doc (5 star!) could be matched with such a terrible front-office experience. If you have a group policy I'm sure this is a great place. If not, skip it."
